About the Author
Johna Stallings is a criminal defense attorney who has worked in the Houston, TX area for over 10 years. She was a prosecutor for the Harris County District Attorney’s Office in Houston, TX for almost five years before opening her own private law practice. Stallings graduated with honors from South Texas College of Law in Houston, TX in the top 10 percent of her class while working as an intern in the Consumer Fraud Division at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. She also obtained a degree in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University. Stallings has participated in many jury trials and negotiated numerous felony criminal cases, including murders, sexual assaults and robberies.
