About the Author
Nikki Rich began her career as a hobby singing in musical theater and after college began fronting a rock and roll band. Over the years, she has been in several original and cover bands and has a wide repertoire including R&B, Motown, big band, disco, Latin and rock-n-roll. She is currently the principal vocalist for a jobbing orchestra and leads her own band, Maryann & the Professors, in add to singing in other groups. Rich has also recorded many industrial and commercial projects, collaborating with the likes of Vince Welnick (Grateful Dead) and Ben E. King. She sang the National Anthem for the Chicago Bulls during five seasons and did two seasons with the White Sox and the Chicago Cubs. She co-produces Singer Spotlight North shore, a showcase for Chicago singers.
