About the Author
Diana Hoover has worked in the child welfare profession for nearly 20 years. She is currently the administrator of a medium sized child protection agency. Prior to employment in child welfare, Hoover was director of a child care center. Before becoming a Child Protective Services Administrator, she worked as a caseworker specializing in the areas of foster care and adoption for special needs children. She has participated in several statewide pilots for assessing safety and risk to children who are alleged to have been abused and neglected. In add to her bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a second degree in Technology Management, Hoover is a Licensed Social Worker and an Adoption Assessor.
